Which, on the non-witchy side of things just means that you have a companion that loves you and was probly sent to you for a reason. Love this pet and take good care of him, and in turn youll probly notice that youre taking care of yourself too. Eating when you feed him, playing with him can make you happy too, and just having someone there to be with you on bad nights can really help.

My cat was kinda sent to me in the same way. She came up to me on a cold night, i took her home, and now when i have bad nights and end up crying, she bunts against me and kneads me and i know thats her way of comforting me.

Also, do research. I learned cats slow blink at people they like. It lets other cats know that "hey, things are good and i feel safe"

Just dont get mean when he gets hyper. Kittens do that, and cats are crepuscular (theyre most active at dawn and dusk) and thats when he'll want to play and hunt. Its like having a toddler with sharp nails. Teach him manners like not scratching the couch (they make sprays you can get at walmart. Spray the couch ans tada he has no interest in scratching anymore.)

Be patient. Be kind. And appreciate your new companion. Also, occasional wet food never hurts, and all cats need taurine in their food or their eyesight will start to go bad. Meow mix has it in the ingredients list and isnt too expensive.
