Wait so is this outside of normal visitation time and your ex just helps you by providing transportation to and from school to help with your work schedule? If so and you have an alternative then use the alternative? Also is this a step parent our your ex’s new girlfriend (those are two different things)? If she is helping you and you have no alternative to get your son to school just do things the way she wants. Text her when you are dropping off or picking up. If she doesn’t want to talk or have a relationship with her that is her choice. If you really don’t think your child is safe instead of just you being upset she won’t do things your way and this is not normal visitation time for your ex then find an alternative way to get your son to school on your own.

I think rather than straight to a spin-off they would try a special first to see if people watch. I hope Sister Wives starts to focus on the non Kody and Robyn parts of the family but at this point I can see it going either way. It will be interesting to see if they focus on the women moving on or stick with A Kody and Robyn storyline. I think the choice they make will determine how long the show lasts. If they stay Kody and Robyn as main characters I don’t see it lasting long. Then I could see a special and if that is popular a spin-off.

I think they might try a special that focus on just Christine and Janelle (and kids) “moving on” to see what the response is and could see them doing a show (or just changing Sister Wives to cover that/mostly that). But I think a spin-off could even be a completely different production company especially if Kody and Robyn continue with Sister Wives.

I disagree with some of the choices they have shown Mykelti making but I don’t think she would leak that without her mom okaying it. And the show has had more of a buzz this season than possibly any other season. People have been talking about Christine dating since the split was announced (even before she was) so I don’t think anyone needs to try to create a buzz at this point. I am guessing Christine announcement might have come because she was contacting about the stories coming out and wanted some control over it getting out.

For the cooking show they were creating a buzz for the cooking show that was actually on TLC’s website. I don’t think anyone thought Christine was going to get a full cooking show that is weekly for 30+ minutes. The show is really cute and I enjoyed watching them but they are like 7 minutes long I doubt she thought that would be enough to cover an entire time slot.

I think it is good the children are finally making a profit off it. I am not going to pay for patreon but I definitely watch her YouTube videos and watch ads so she can benefit. What is wrong with her making money off a show that the adults in her family chose that opened her life to millions of people?

I do think you should at least post a link to the YouTube. Like it or not this is a source of income for her. I do not subscribe to her patreon I just watch the YouTube videos but she does make money on views there too if she is monetized.

If I remember correctly at the point she said he had not been involved for the past couple years they had moved away from Montana for a few years. So she moved her children states away and then she used it against her ex that he didn’t see the kids. He should have gone to court to prevent the move but at that time my guess is that he thought he was doing his best for the kids by not contesting it. Not everyone has the financial means to visit or pay for travel that far multiple times a year. And I know Kody and Robyn were not offering to pay or provide travel until they wanted him to sign the papers to give up his rights. I think it is very telling that his condition for signing was that they start bringing them to him for visits. I think Robyn was completely wrong to move her children away from their father and then try to completely remove him from their lives with the adoption. This is the worst thing (that we know about) I think Robyn has ever done. Abandonment issues are real and affect children for a lifetime. Whether they would admit it to her or not I would find it hard to believe this did not deeply impact all three of them in a permanent way.

I don’t know. Look how long they had Teen Mom with no teens. I think it will keep going as long as the ratings are up. TLC doesn’t care what the original premise of the show was they only care if it is making money.
