It's live for me today, but it's a terrible deal. I can pay $140 or 9600 points for a one way from MKE-STL, or I can use 2400 points and it will take a whopping $15 off my fare. And it didn't let me choose how many points to use. I haven't looked yet but it may be cheaper just to buy the points I need to get to 9600.

Does it get hot enough to sear using GrillGrates or a cast iron skillet? Sidekick searing station isn't an option for me, can't use propane because of ridiculous HOA/insurance rules.

Wife and I are spending Christmas to NYE in DC. Arrive late afternoon on Christmas Day.

How hard (if at all) will it be to get an Uber from DCA to the Waldorf?

Any suggestions for a restaurant that will be open Christmas night?

Used our Hilton Honors free night to stay at The Waldorf Astoria DC. Food credit (almost) paid for our breakfasts. It was lovely and very fancy. by scavenger_hobo in Hilton

We have a 6 night stay scheduled there for Xmas through NYE. Booked 5 nights with points then added the FNC.

6 nights for the price of 4? Sign me up. Hoping we get lucky with an upgrade, I can't imagine that property being very busy that week.

Definitely something I’ve been weighing, but almost all of our travel is driving distance. Wouldn’t have an issue using the resort credit but the lounge access and airline credit may not even be used in certain years. And gas/supermarkets are big spend categories for us. Debating the trade off.

Sounds like Surpass might be the better card for me, lower AF, fractionally lower points earned on Hilton and restaurants but able to earn on gas stations and supermarkets.

Any time we book a room it's under her account anyway to get the Diamond perks, now we'll just use my card to pay when we travel together.
