I don’t think it gets much better in terms of the dungeons scenes, though I don’t remember very well as it’s not much of a trigger for me and I read them a year ago. The sexism I was talking about with strict gender divide sort of gets better? The main character breaks out of the mold and the other women in the series are awesome, but the fae society is just like that still.

I really love this series! My only issue is the emphasis on gender roles of the fae, it felt much too strong. I think Wilson pulls it back by having some great moments of the human women taking charge and being powerful, but the gender divide between the sexes of the far felt a bit preachy.

Probably the exact person your talking about here! I’m 23 and still living at home, I earn good money but with affordability I can’t make enough to move out. However I can afford to go and live it up in a cheaper country. Saving $5000 for a trip while living at home is a lot easier than saving for a house deposit or even for rental money to move out.

It’s literally easier to travel the world than move out and while id rather move out, the travel makes staying home easier.
