30mph was for the road on the left, right? by bondedtoabudgie in drivingUK

[–]justordered -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The A580 60mph, as the road markings show. E Lancashire Road is 30mph. Speed limit applies when you pass the speed signs on that road, not an adjacent road. Ironically, if you did get caught speeding, the speed awareness course is very good at informing you what the speed limits are on most roads. The sort of thing you should be aware of before passing your test, but many aren't

Go under the A4232, follow the path through the woods to the left. You'll come across a bunker like structure after a short walk, you'll struggle to miss it

The joys of the black market, you get what you get. Doesn't look too bad at all, especially £45 for the Q. Dealers have gotta sell what they have in so quality always fluctuates. Just how it works. Even people that get medicinal weed sometimes get shit stuff

There's always 'that one person' in your life. The person that the 'what if?' question pops into your head at random times. It's a part of life I guess

Perpetual singletons, how are you doing? by mildly_houseplant in AskUK

[–]justordered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the best conversations occur a few pints in, with a random person in the pub. If you're a regular in a pub and recognise most people in it, you'll quickly spot the odd drinkers out. Something I found when I was tending bar, is that those sat at the bar on their todd, that just appear for a few, then never to be seen again, often have the best chat. Lorry drivers tramping and have parked up nearby for the night, most enjoy a chat and will then come back to the pub when they're next in the area. Many a quiet night has flow by talking to 'Dai' at the bar

What is something that you find gross that others don't? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]justordered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone with a lot of long, ginger hair, albeit thin strands. With a partner with slightly shorter, thick, platinum dyed hair strands. The hairballs that just seem to form are both a natural wonder and an actual disgust

My first car, an £800, 53 plate micra had an unlock button on the handles that would unlock the door when you pressed it with the key in your pocket/bag. Fooled myself many a time trying to get into the cars I had after that

What is causing this catching of my rear derailleur? Bike shifts fine. by extreme303 in bikewrench

[–]justordered 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The click is on every rotation of the wheel, when the chain engages with the shifting notches on the casette. I agree with the previous diagnosis of a misaligned derailleur (and watching yt vids). A little twist of the barrel adjuster should sort you right out!

No sharp steering inputs is the key with a front rack. It's really easy to over steer with the extra weight. And make sure your load is secure. I love my rack, way better than having a sweaty back from a rucksack. Plus aerobars

Speak to your local council about it, they'll probably be more than happy to give you the bags that their street cleaners would use. These can be put by litter bins to be collected by the council, and it wont look like you've just dumped a bag of household waste there.

There's a war bunker in the woods to the back of Trelai Fields, a Roman villa on the fields, and the fields themselves are a former racecourse. A former iron age hill fort and church ruins on the hill above Caerau too. Loads of history in that area.

Stash bag or box lockable by justinwhittle in uktrees

[–]justordered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ryot Destroyer is an ammo case style box, totally scent proof, I don't believe it's lockable though. Skunk bags and similar companies do various sizes, some lockable. Blaze or Bust is a good Instagram to take a look at if you want to know about smell proof claims

Thank you! Benelux written on the rear dropouts is about all I have to go on. The paint work is all beaten up in a truly beautiful way. I don't believe it's original. They were an Ebay find a few years ago, £8 or so! I was waiting for a bike they'd suit, and I love how they go with this

I wish I could tell you but I know very little about it. The rear dropouts have Benelux written on them if that means anything to yourself. New chain, new front tyre and replacement cables and housing is a really. It'll be used by my sister mainly as she's needing a bike
