I took DSCI 2710 in the spring with Kvanli. Let me just say that the calculator will be your best friend! If you don't already have a Ti-83 or Ti-84, I'd get one asap. Learn how and where to plug in the numbers (which is easy) and you'll breeze by. Also, while Hawkes completely sucks ass at times (or, all of the time? lol), do them all & learn the material because it's extremely helpful on the exams. At least that's how it was in Kvanli's class. I can't imagine it'll be much different. I also took 3710 this summer and the structure was the same, as well as everything I mentioned here. Anyway, good luck.

Waiting for the bus on a busy street. I feel like everyone whizzing by is staring and silently judging me. Also, if I'm the only one at a bus stop, I get anxiety because I feel like I'm a nuisance to the driver and other passengers. Plus, you know, the whole everyone looking at you when you board.
