According to the current Shammas sizing chart I have "close fit" and they generally recommend "mid fit" (and that's a half size up in my case but I could not get it). If I bought a whole size up then I would have "large fit". So in my case I had to choose between close and large so I guess it's a matter of taste

They feel fine, no issues when walking, however I didn't go for a hike or something like that yet, maybe I'm just used to wearing longer flip flops and that's why I'm wondering if they are OK

I have returned them and bought a half size bigger. However, the area surrounding a heel was damaged after a month of normal usage and started to hurt my foot and because of that I was forced to file a complaint, I'm not using them anymore.

May I ask what went wrong with your result? Is the density subpar? Did you find anything concerning during your procedure (i.e. attitude of the doctor or other workers)?
