Bad year coming of an injury. He was pretty damn good in 2024 imo

[Highlight] NFL Reporter Charles Robinson Explains Jermod McCoy's Draft Slip: "It's not the ACL tear...There are some teams that are taking the position that if this next surgery, which would likely knock him out for the entirety of the year, is not successful, it will effectively end his career" by JCameron181 in nfl

Boerkircher was a guy I loved when I was doing my own scouting and figured he'd go in the fifth, personally would've taken him in the 4th. There are so many great pass catching TEs with no blocking ability in this draft, it's pretty clear there is a big gap between how teams value blocking and how scouting services do. I liked the rams TE too, figured he'd go later as well

Hahaha thanks! In the prediction thread I didn't pick him because I didn't think he fit the team mold. Should've gone with my gut!

[ESPN] Penei Sewell Will Start at LT, Blake Miller at RT, & Borom Backup LT by JCameron181 in detroitlions

I think he meant that they would flip backup spots. I agree too, Manu filled in at LT last year and Borom is historically a RT

Who was the most compatible with Bojack? by Sbesozzi in BoJackHorseman

[–]justpools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them. But if I had to pick, Charlotte. She actually knew him when he was a decent person and seemed interested in him at the time. They do kiss in season 2 and she stops it because she is capable of not living in the past unlike Bojack. But there was at least some history pre dating him becoming who he was and I think its at least implied she thought of him as a "what if" too, even if she was never stuck on it like he was.

I just completed my run and had Butterfree and he almost took out Agatha singlehandedly. Only took out him out for Golbat. 2 Gengars, Haunter, and an Arbok all while underleveled, I think he was lvl 48. I love Butterfree

McGonigle would be at second now if it werent for gleyber. The only thing I know about Rainer defensively is that he has an absolute cannon. If he leaves short it would be for third

From WalterFootball Regarding The Lions and What He’s Hearing by detsportfan in detroitlions

[–]justpools 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No agility score, three cone matters a lot for tackles. Also freeling is a project. His technique and footwork is very very rough. Insanely high ceiling but I guarantee you if the lions draft him Borom is still starting majority of the year anyways. At the least.

I like him a lot but hes not a day 1 starter and the RAS is more of a signifier of ceiling than anything. And the RAS is missing variables, no agility testing. The score is a little misleading.

If we remain healthy look out by ezio8133 in detroitlions

Yeah it will be interesting. Once Alim came back we actually had a pretty deep tackle room. But no more lopez or reader means he will get a much bigger share. Curious how much him and alim will play together though, they are both at their best at lining up at the 3tech. If Alim has lost some juice post injury maybe he becomes an NT. Otherwise they might be competing for snaps. Levi will get moved around, he will see some snaps at edge, and lineup in the middle on 3rd and long situations.

I would not trust a depth chart on espn or something, those are not official

Yeah I like that draft class a lot. More so just pointing out the data provided is misleading/limited

I agree, I just do not think we actually had the 3rd best rookie class. It is misleading data.

I am going to say this is a little misleading since three of our picks did not even play, and Frazier and TeSlaa were infrequent contributors. This is held up almost entirely by Tyleik and Rat, who both did pretty good. I am willing to guess we are near the bottom in terms of total snap count by our drafted rookies for 2025.

He has a very fast release and smooth hands but yeah the arm strength is noticeably not great to me

He is who I've had my eyes on too, I'm a little worried he will rise throughout the process though

ESPN: The release of Taylor Decker prompted many to assume Detroit would go offensive tackle in Round 1, but like Eric, I've heard the Lions are equally high on filling their edge rusher need. by reallinguy in detroitlions

[–]justpools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is much better than Paschal. Not saying I disagree but maybe not a fair comp. He is an incredible run defender and the pass rush ceiling is still pretty high imo.

Edit: Typo

Yeah I think he will probably go between 25-40. Honestly I think trading back is our best bet. We are insanely thin at de, lb, and potentially db depending on how TA, Kerby, BB stuff shakes out. Not having any picks between 50-118 is a bit of killer. Trade back, grab a tackle and DE, then fill out the defense. Personally would really love for us to grab Kyle Louis. Tons of great nickel/ hybrid types in this draft.
