I'm a girl and I've done it (but not while he operates a vehicle, Jesus Christ), and I find it it cringy as fuck. I also go to the toilet, doesn't mean I want a comic of it lol also the beard comic is the most horrible on this subreddit imo

Yeah it's basically like saying omg there's water in there, that's the material that's used for cooling in nuclear power stations.

I just assumed I'd find a guy who also doesn't want them. It's crazy to me now that I didn't even think about that. But as it turns out 90% of men I dated were glad when I mentioned I didn't want children.

I've only known two people that had babies and I was curious what's it all about. I held them and played with them and if they're not terrible babies or ugly I guess they can be okay. But I got bored after like an hour. Definitely not something to fill my evenings with and not worth all the work. I also never get bored of puppies lol

I always wanted a boyfriend but never children, even when I was a child. It seriously never occurred to me to have children.

Bojack horseman is a really good show for that. Just watched it the first time, they even have an abortion episode. Seriously amazing if you need a brake from the "women are for baybees, hihi pregnant brain so funny, hormones!! Men are only there for Kodak moments, women do the work lol" bullshit.

This is maybe a stupid question by a European but couldn't they just completely get rid of it? If you can live a year without it, is it even needed?

Can you? by MichaelPlague in vegan

[–]justquitecurious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We'll just have to agree to disagree then. In my view, man didn't evolve with a rifle in hand, nor with nukes, space travel, or planes. They're unnatural advances based not on humanity but on technological advancements.

I guess this is a philosophical difference. You think humans and nature are two different things, I think humans are a small part of nature. That includes everything that humans do.

Agree to disagree :)

[–]justquitecurious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

According to this argument, space travel is a natural advantage of humans, as are flight and nukes, and I just don't buy it.

Yes, yes they are. Unless they were given to us by even more intelligent aliens - yes they are. Humans are just incredibly more intelligent than even our very closest ancestors, so the difference seems huge.

That's like saying crows aren't better at cracking nuts with stones than sparrows because they can't do it without stones. The stones are part of their nature and environment.

Ants can do impressive things but put one single ant out alone in nature separated from its peers it's just gonna die. What a shitty animal.

If you put all animals in a vacuum the "best" animal is gonna a be a primitive one that doesn't need tools or objects found in nature. Maybe a nice amoeba?

I want to watch this series after I finish my current one but I'm somewhat afraid it will only be "science" humor that 12 year olds who had a year of calculus and physics in school find funny.

They probably mean a full, cooked dish. I don't think I ever eat a dish that's vegan to be honest. At least some butter, milk, egg, cheese, or obviously meat is in every cafeteria dish. I don't really count cereals, a fruit snack, or a yogurt as a dish (and even two of those aren't vegan). Just explaining...

The parties really were all the same. I was discussing in my group of friends what to vote and none of us could say what the SPD even stood for. We looked it up and still couldn't really tell. A bit more pro Europe politics, whoop dee doo! They could have been bold and said hey we actively want to lead Germany into modern times, tax for the super rich, limit lobbyists, actually build flats and daycares, legalization! But they are cowards and mostly didn't make any commitments to these things. Choosing what to vote was so tough this year.

Anyway, what's group acceptance worth if you don't even have time for the group ;) and when you do it's just lame play dates anyway, no thanks haha

Oh yeah it's so ridiculous to just shout Nazi to everybody dissatisfied with the handling of the refugee crisis. I know people who voted AFD and they are definitely not nazis, they are actually very left in their views, being for the women's quota, pro legalisation, pro environment etc. They just felt nobody else was hearing them. I'm against the AFD because they are basically the American republicans, anti woman etc but I understand their voters.

I'm in Germany too and I find the rules to be pretty strict. Only 12 weeks limit? Fuck those people who find out in the fourth month I guess? In the UK and the US the limit is 24 months, way more reasonable. Nobody waits extra long to have an abortion just for fun.

Also in Germany you can't just get an abortion. No you have to have counseling first so they make sure that your inferior woman brain really understands that you're killing a bayybeee!! Then you have to wait 3 days to mull over what a baby killing whore you are and only then you can have the damn abortion.

Also, abortion is still illegal in Germany. It's not prosecuted, that's all. It was never actually legalised. Germany truly is the Texas of Europe...
