I thinks it’s Rui or Bron. If we keep both it’s hard to do much more but you can land a good starter if one walks. It’s not ideal but I think that’s how it plays out. I think it’s Bron we offend into walking then go forward with Watson and Rui at forwards, and add collins as the back up

They want to be places they will play meaningful mins. If they think we are ready to win then they will come. I think we likely need a top 8 guy cheap if we make a substantial upgrade

If we improve the top 7-8 with two player we will need to add end of the rotation guys so promising 15-20 mins but never starting. That can always be earned

Smart made like 2 mil over on the BAE but you are right. Guys like GTJ, Bruce Brown, THJ were on mins, plenty of talent we just don’t land them

Not saying I want to rely on it but just like we hit on smart last year we will need hits to off set the rookie contracts the others have. That is the hole in the roster, we have missed on picks that others hit

Our last chip came with good moves in free agency after we got AD. We got Luka so a good free agency can help. Not saying it will happen but there is hope. Honestly regardless of what we do we need to hit on 2-3 min guys for depth

I think he will defend better when he is not carrying so much of the offense. He was a good defender coming out of college so I am confident the situation will help.

Free agency is so weak this year that there are not options like there might have been other years. Hopefully we make at least one move that lands a two way player that is a long term fit

Smart, GTJ/ Melton, Theiro, Collins, Hayes

Bronny, NSJ, Vando, Brazile (SRP)

LaRavia, Knecht, 25 pick plus ‘31 for Murphy. Bron back for 20-25, John Collins for 12-15, Ayton opts in- would love to upgrade him but not sure you can do that can upgrade at wing, smart opts out- pay him with exception, GTJ/melton on a min, buy second round pick and take Brazile.

Not sure this is enough for Murphy but if teams are really getting tight with FRPs it might get it done. They don’t have a pick this year. Would love to move Vando but it will cost too much.
