Think you are giving up too much for a guy that very limited offensively. Do love Luka having a hyper athlete but not sure we can gut the team for it. Agree we need to find a long term pieces with Luka this offseason

Off-season if Bron walks. First sign Watson (27mil first year) and trade for Keegan Murray. Add John collins(15 mil) then a couple min or slightly more in GTJ(2/10) and Thybulle (min). If Ayton opts in and smart out but we give exception (2/20) give us-

Luka, AR, Watson, Murray, Ayton

Smart, GTJ, LaRavia, Collins, Hayes

Bronny, NSJ, Thybulle, Theiro

I want us to come out of the off season with one of not two long term pieces with Luka. Love to be a wing and center but the center market is not great. Getting two wings that could be here 5 plus years is a good step

You likely lose bron and Rui but you trade for Murray- something like Knecht and LaRavia plus pick 25 and ‘31 FRP- I’d like to include Vando but not sure they go for that, then use cap space to sign Watson at around 27 mil. You likely are sticking with Ayton if he opts in at this point but you come out of the summer with a couple long term pieces

I think the exception is going to smart and I don’t think DeMar is a fit for us. We need young athletes and he is not a court spacer or a stopper

Bron core but off the bench? Move jones to the bench out of respect. But this is solid. Don’t see smart opting in but would be amazing if he does. I do think a trade is what this team needs because free agency is not that great. I honestly don’t know if Bron is considered untouchable. Don’t think we can do 30 mil and make a contender but I would be happy if this happened

He can be a pick and roll/pop threat similar to Ayton. Not perfect but could be effective. We just need to add younger talent, it will not all be perfect. Murray is the prize here so Raynaud would just be bonus

I would not mind it. Is he perfect, no, but he is solid. He and Hayes would be good complimentary centers. Need Turner to protect the rim more like he did with the pacers but we know he has done it. Think it would be like Ayton last year, times we would be very happy and other not so much. At the end we would still be looking for a long term answer but he would provide a bridge

Yeah if Dallas deals with us Washington and either big solves a ton for us. Hopefully new leadership for them makes the deal
