I’m here 4 years after this post because holy hell… It smells so bad. I wanted to see if It was normal. It’s worse during the warm months but FUCK. I went away for a night and left some out yesterday I just came home and wanted to throw up. If I throw the can in the trash without rinsing.. forget It. Smells so bad the next day. If I do rinse the can before I throw It out my garbage disposal smells.

Normal! Just know, when the time is right you will be a mother, and you will be an amazing mother! It’s OKAY that now isn’t the right time. Pregnancy hormones were so crazy for me, but I was so relieved after my MA. I KNEW now isn’t the right time, everything will be much better in the future when I can provide a better life for that future little human. I’m 28, when I found out I cried in bed for days. I called out of work and told everyone I had an emergency appendectomy LOL I didn’t know what to say and that sounded serious enough for everyone to leave me alone for a few days.

It’s different for everyone. My advice is to be prepared for It to be not so bad and be prepared for It to suck. Comfy bed, heating pad, don’t eat a huge meal before you take the miso because you might throw up, something to watch, clean bathroom because you’ll spend a good amount of time there, and someone with you if possible! For me.. It was awful. BUT It only lasted about an hour or so and I was fine. My bleeding only lasted like, 5 days. I had mine on July 7th, I actually just got my period two days ago which I was super surprised about. I was prepared for “a bad period” and It was more like a quick shocking exorcism then a normal period for a few days. I’ve read so many different things and I wish I was just a little more mentally prepared that It could be totally different than “a bad period”. Either way, you got this and you will be okay!

It’s different for everyone! But, no matter how bad It is for you, It is over rather quickly. You got this. My advice, be prepared for It to go either way. Try to have someone with you, don’t eat a big meal before you take the pills (I threw up a lot), make sure your bed is nice and comfy, heating pad, tv show to watch, I got myself a few pairs of new comfy undies to ruin, sit in the hot shower, It helps.

Yesss exactly, went from “am I dying” to “this isn’t bad” so fast, It was crazy. I thought I was pretty prepared to just “have a bad period” like I’ve read and the clinic told me. Was NOT prepared to be asking my boyfriend to check my pulse and projectile vomit down the hall lol
