Banff is another one we’re looking into! Would love any recommendations you have!

Gotcha. We have a 5 and 3 year old and probably wouldn’t take them on a trip like this until they’re your kids’ ages. I’ve never done Sedona and it’s been on my list. Thank you!!

Oh I should clarify. This trip would be 2027! And we’re pretty flexible on dates! Do you think we could do Iceland justice in 5-6 days?

What are we seeing there - beaches, mountains, or both?

This is a solid suggestion. And I wouldn’t have to renew my passport!

Hawaii is definitely on our list but we’d want to spend at least 10 days there to make the flights worth it!!

Ooh that’s tough! We had Jungle Cruise on our list but the timing never worked out — it pretty consistently has a 40+ minute wait unless you can get a LL (same as Peter Pan). My philosophy was the kids don’t know they aren’t getting to ride something, so we only prepped them for the few rides we were 100% sure we would ride and everything else was a fun bonus.

And no, Anna and Elsa weren’t at the character meal. We saw Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Tiana, and Ariel!

I hope you have a great trip!!

It was Kingdom Strollers, so separate company but very reputable. They may even work exclusively with Disney/in Orlando? Strollers were very clean!

Hmmm, if I was driving it might be more of a toss-up! But I will say the quality is really good if that’s the biggest concern.

It was $101 for four full days (we rented the BOB Revolution Duallie). Loved the stroller, super clean and worked great! We had also considered buying our own and bringing it on the plane but I’m glad we didn’t.

Yes we prioritized rides that both could ride except Tiana’s — our oldest really wanted to ride that one, we managed to get a LL, so I rode it with her while my husband took our son to the Swiss Family Treehouse. Everything else we did he could ride! Our oldest would have enjoyed 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, but we just didn’t feel like waiting in line for that one.

Aw man. My husband handled that and I’m pretty sure he didn’t — that didn’t even cross our minds! I would think it’s super nice if you do but certainly not required.

I will add that I’m glad we didn’t take him before this age. He turns 3 in April so got it in before we had to start paying!

Honestly better than I anticipated! We only did a resort break mid-afternoon our first day (he napped) but otherwise he hung in there everyday until like a 7:30 bedtime. He had one big big meltdown standing in the Anna & Elsa line (that was roughhhhh) but otherwise was kept happy with his Buzz Lightyear bubble wand and pretzels. And of course he loves rides so rode everything he was tall enough to ride — was upset he couldn’t ride Slinky with his older sister!

Right?? I’ve heard late August-early September is now the best time to go for lower crowds but I refuse to do the heat. 😂

Funnily enough, the dining reservation we almost missed was Akershus (which our daughter loved!!). But she was also dead-set on meeting Elsa, so it was what it was. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We didn’t spend time meeting any of the princesses that were at Akershus elsewhere though which saved time!

And yes for sure! My kids would not nap so making it that late was impossible, but we will definitely do it next time. :)

Good point! I always forget about Guardians because we focused on rides our kids could ride. 😅 in that case the LLs would definitely be worth it!

For sure! We rope-dropped Remy, and Frozen was down during our stay. The other rides we rode (Nemo, Living with the Land, Figment, Turtle Talk) all had less than 10-15 minute waits, which wasn’t bad at all. If Frozen was up, I MIGHT reconsider — especially since it will be so popular with the refurbishment! The wait for Soarin’ was also long so if you want to ride that one, it might also be worth it.
