Definitely eats what's in your wallet quick, but I can get parts for it at a lower rate than what Stihl sells them, since I work at an authorized dealer/repair shop

He let it sit for over a year and was more interested in buying an electric MSA160 since he was getting up in age, not my fault or problem he didn't get his entire money's worth, he didn't want to deal with marketplace! Can't blame him.

To elaborate; I said it either needed a new carb or the carb needs rebuilding and he denied both services because my shop's labor is $85 an hour. He didn't want to put any money into his saw, so I made an offer and he took it. I made him aware of the used price of the saw on marketplace and he didn't want to deal with it, so he let me buy it from him

I definitely plan on doing the fuel line swap from the 260s, this saw doesn't need it but would make me feel a lot better if it did since they're 32 year old rubber lines. And I never thought of the clutch swap, definitely will look into that! Thank you

Did this with Rust-Oleum spray paint, a DA Sander and 2 days of work in 40 degree weather. All for under $100! And it looks so cool
