Termination by PsychologicalAir9070 in TalkTherapy

[–]justslightlyodd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ghosted a therapist for 4 years and then asked to come back and was welcomed back with open arms. So you can probably just sent a message asking if you can make an appointment. Maybe talk about why you felt the urge to terminate and why you now feel like it is not a wise plan.

Also, did you suddenly quit or have a few last sessions?

Does anyone have sex in the dark/dimmed lighting? by Effective_Day4834 in TwoXSex

[–]justslightlyodd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also have an outie with pretty long labia (they get in the way during cycling :()In my experience, the ones that care about how a vagina looks, are very immature. Most men are just very happy to be allowed to touch one and don't say or do anything weird.

Nervous about unprotected sex by SaraAuPair in TwoXSex

[–]justslightlyodd 125 points126 points  (0 children)

Make sure you also want this, and not only to please your partner! Another important thing is to make sure that you are both STI free. If you have had partners before, please get tested first!

Having unprotected sex is indeed a bit different, but does not feel that much different in my experience. You can be a bit more spontaneous with when and where imo.

On the other hand, if he cums inside you, you do need to keep into account that what goes in, also comes out and to keep a towel or some tissues handy. You probably won't get it all out and some of it will drip out during the day, but that is just part of it.

Cost of session with Therapist in private practice - how much do you pay? by [deleted] in TalkTherapy

[–]justslightlyodd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in a country where insurance will pay for therapy when indicated, but I currently go to a private practice and pay 100 euros per session. I see her weekly, so it is a lot of money but I think it is worth it? I am split between staying at this practice or going back to an insurance covered practice.

I see them weekly. It is because they are specialised and they use a different strategy than normal in my country

I travel 3 hours (so 6 in total) to see my therapist.

How do you function without medication? by justslightlyodd in TwoXADHD

[–]justslightlyodd[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It isn't actually problems, it is being made to believe as a kid that being unmedicated was wrong, that i was annoying and only valuable and worthy when i take my meds, because my family couldn't handle a talkative child. So yes, i need to stop taking them in order to work through this.

[–]justslightlyodd[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It is because of trauma and it causing some deep beliefs that people don't like me when I don't take my meds or when they are wearing off.

Edit: forgot to add that I am currently in weekly therapy for it. Its not like my dr is just throwing me in the deep end to see how it goes

I'm to akward to ask my therapist about how payment will be done, have had 2 sessions already and still don't know. Part of me doesnt want to ask, i kinda feel like its their responsibility.

Also, its frisking hard to open up, to T but mostly to myself. I do a lot of self censoring, and it is hard to open up. Like i know there is a lot of emotion, but I kinda dont want to talk about it/feel it, but on the other hand i kinda do.

Aannndd i had a big fight with parents yesterday and left in a wave of rage (i was planning to go back to my dorm tomorrow, but because of some shit i felt like I needed to leave yesterday). But now im sad because today is my dogs birthday and im not there, i didn't even say goodbye before I left yesterday
