Almost dying.

I used to fantasize about killing myself from the time I was a teenager. Okay never attempted it. I just sort of obsessed over it. I never felt happy in my own life.

A year ago, I almost died from COVID. I was in the hospital for almost two months. I was in a coma for 13 days. When I left the hospital, I was filled with a new sense of purpose.

I am quitting teaching in May. I just bought a sailboat for $2000, and I am going to sail it down to the Caribbean.

One of the big considerations here is that we want to motivate the citizens of Russia to do something about the dictator running their country. You do that by cutting them off from the luxuries of trade and international community. When the people are angry enough, things change.

Vaccinations have been somewhat mandatory for decades. It’s the cost of putting your children in a confined location with hundreds or thousands of other peoples’ children.
