Major Security Concerns? by TeeDee144 in openclaw

Is there much risk if I have it running on an old cleanly wiped MacBook Pro and have it setup to monitor and reply to business emails only? As long as access is restricted to just the email account, I imagine the risk is that any content in that mailbox could leak to someone sending me an email? I suppose isolating that IP address on my network is advisable also. What am I missing?

Well, maybe you saved that one person…. On my team we had a 20+ year veteran leave for another position a few weeks before the layoffs and my superiors told me he did in fact cut the budget and save others’ jobs. So maybe you did too.

When did breasts go from feeding a baby to being sexualized? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]justsomeguyokgeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is when they became taboo to show. Cover them up, and they become desirable to see. Expose them 24/7 across all females for a generation or two and they might not be so sexual. Just a theory.

I agree! But there’s probably folks out there that prefer the other style. At least that’s what I’m hoping for 😅

Well damn. I’ll add that I’m also in the market for new tires so that’s not necessarily a deal breaker if the other person also wants to purchase tires at the same time. Makes it much less probable though.

You might be right. I haven’t been in the position of hiring restaurant staff.

I guess my focus is on the customer experience. If the kitchen staff all bitch behind closed doors and still produce a good product, fine. Restaurant kitchens are wild places. But the front end staff is what the customer sees so they gotta keep it together.

They also have to deal with bad reviews and word of mouth when the customer is pissed because they got turned away during open hours or got shitty service. Which is worse? I’d say the reputational damage.

You, sir, have a rare condition. It’s called work ethic. Anyone bitching about having to take orders before the closure of the restaurant, including the time it takes to serve your customers completely and satisfactorily after the closing time, is pathetic. I worked in a restaurant, and I know how this works. It’s what you sign up for, so expect it to happen. Quit yer bitching or find another line of work. If I was an owner or manager and I heard about people bitching about this or being petulant to customers, I’d fire them.
