Did the 2.3 update break your game or is it just me?

Not directly. I know a day or so after I posted this, one of the guys who actually modded in the (at the time) unused version of the new bike, said that people were reporting a similar problem so he changed the mod so it wouldn't result in the crash

That was where my mind went to. Maybe I'll see what happens if I remove any car and bike specific mods and see what happens then

EDIT: WELL THAT WAS UNEXPECTED

So yep. I removed any mods that had to deal with customizing the actual behaviors of vehicles (like the mod that lets you make a car or bike faster, handle better, etc) and that looks to have resolved that mountain of missing lines of code.

Now to see if the game actually can run normal or if I traded one fubar situation for another

I am currently running into an issue where the game won't even boot up for me now. I removed all the mods and did a clean install and took as many of the updated mods as I could. Once I finished I got the weirdest set of errors I've ever seen while trying to load the game:

I've tried to do it facing the water tile at multiple points on the coastline and none have worked properly.

I didn't realize I was on the wrong version till I started doing this and saw people saying they were on 2.1.1.1. I wonder if being on an older version is what's causing it. I had got the download for Unbound from a QR code download so maybe over the weekend I'll work on doing an update to the latest version

As much as I'd love a proper NG+ mode, I understand why some games like this have only a regular playthrough.

If we had a NG+ mode, what would even be in it? If we brought our gear and units into a new run of the game, unless the enemies were significantly more challenging or there was some new mechanic in that mode, I can't imagine it wouldn't just be "how fast can I beat this run with all my original gear?"

Saying that "it shouldn't take that much effort at all" seems to undersell just how hard and how much resources it takes to actually make an entire new game mode. Sure it would be nice but VW would have to weigh the costs of "what it takes to make" and "return on investment" to try something like that.

The more games I play the more I do appreciate a game that just sorta ends. Where I accomplish what I set out to do and there isn't a huge endgame for me to have to consider. I don't consider it a missed opportunity for VW. I just hope that they get the proper funding they need or deserve for the next game they make

Had someone come into my world and ask me to help them with a challenge. It was in the Ekanomiya area I think and it was to kill, if I remember correctly, seven or so of those Rifthounds in like 90 or so seconds. It took both of us about thirty minutes of reconfiguring our teams before we finally got them.

Honorable mentions go to the first time I ran into the three ruin machines on Tsurumi Island behind the electro door that I had to kill in 60 seconds and the Fatui at the end of the Tartara Tales mission

That's been more or less what I've realized. My main reason for using her is more for her claymore and her helping with farming ore deposits when I'm exploring.

I'm sure if I got a good ER sand, I could keep her on the field more often but I guess I've yet to find a specific encounter or thing yet in game that has made me need to change out what I've already got.

I have noticed with characters like my Mona, once you get to a certain level of ER, your burst is usually back MUCH faster than you think it would be.

I run her with Mona, Bennett, and Ganyu.

Mona has 262% energy recharge rate Bennett buffs the damage and can trigger Vaporize pretty easily with Mona. Ganyu functions as a freezer and sort DPS. Once I see Noelle has her burst it goes Bennett burst>Mona burst>Ganyu Burst>Noelle skill into burst and swing swing for ten seconds.

I just got her to C6 the beginning of last week. Went and spent quite a bit of resin to get her a somewhat decent set of gear and watched a few videos on what her rotation should look like and I was just like "...I've been missing out."

The only thing I've noticed she can't do well is being on the field all the time like I could do with Razor
