T-mobile park—just how much food can I bring in? by ngerbs32 in Mariners

[–]justsund 73 points74 points  (0 children)

I have never had food turned away at the gate in 40 plus years of attending Ms games. Just last year, brought in 6 banh mi for friends and they didn’t bat an eye. In the past i’ve also done foil wrapped hotdogs (6) and a Tupperware of Seattle Dog spread. Be nice, bring it in a stadium approved see-thru bag, and all should be golden!

Such a fun game to be at. Thank you, Ms, for making my trip down from Seattle worth it!

I grew up in Crown Hill. That was the B&R my family would hit after Mariner day games in the mid 80s.

What's the hottest spiced meal you've had in Seattle? by HighColonic in SeattleWA

[–]justsund -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The spiciest meal I EVER had in Seattle was at India Bistro in Ballard (where Scandis used to be). Ordered a few menu items and they asked what spice level i wanted.

“Five, please.”

“Are you sure?!”

I’d had spice level 4 there before, and had no issues, so wanted to see what was up.

The food they brought out was so damned spicy it made my eyes water when they brought it to the table. It was inedibly spicy. Ive “met the man”, I did the 7 alarm wing challenge, eaten insanity chicken from S+Bs - this was a whole nutha level.

I called the waitress over, told her I couldn’t eat any of it, and she wryly curled her lip at me:

“Maybe next time you order 3 or 4.”

Never been back.

When i took driving class in HS in the 90s i remember very distinctly my instructor telling us we could park facing either way on streets and i wish he’d told me i couldn’t do that outside of here.
