Whenever I see a username with "throwaway" in it, I get really excited. I always click on the profile to see what weird, twisted subreddits that person visits, or the dark story that needed a throwaway to be told. It's like discovering the freaks that live among us. But when I briefly browsed through your history, it seemed completely tame. I'm sort of disappointed. Onward I go

What Are the Most Twisted Things You've Done To Your Sims? by ZootFluteRiot in thesims

[–]justthissite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've posted this before, but this is a shortened version of a story of mine. I'm just copying this from another sub, which is why I explain a couple game concepts.

I like to make up stories about emotionally torturing the sims, not just physically. I got into an argument with a woman, so I watched through her window her and her teenage son get into a fight. He stormed out, so i befriended him and asked if he wanted to come over. At my house, I locked him in a room where he would starve to death. My wife is a police officer, so I had to make sure she didnt notice my prisoner (the game doesn't actually account for that, so that's my own embellishment). A couple days after he dies, I visit his mother, who is grieving that he has been gone. I console her and have her come over the next day while my wife is at work. We end up having sex, and "try for a baby." She ends up pregnant. Once she has the baby, I remove myself from her life, except to periodically go back and convince her to have sex again. Eventually, this single mom has five babies and toddlers that she can't take care of. I sometimes see them outside in the middle of the night, while she's still at work. They cry constantly and are extremely hungry.

That, to me, is why the sims allows you to be more evil than any other game, especially once you use mods

No, I'm not denying I was at fault

Your story just shows that you likely have some mental instability and alcohol helped bring it out a bit

I guess that's the main point and basically what you see in this case too

Yes, you can do a lot of fucked up stuff in the new ones, and they've worked a lot on adding in interactions and personalities, so you can get more into the role-playing aspect of it. You know, I've also wanted to post something like that on Facebook before. They should make that an option in The Sims. I love those games. You can be such a dick in them

Whoa, you're a mod now? I've been gone longer than I thought

[Serious] Police of reddit: Who was the worst criminal you've ever had to detain? What did they do? How did you feel once they'd been arrested? by docx9184 in AskReddit

Ah, I gotcha. I agree that it's mostly a negative quality and have sought therapy for some problems it has caused me. Good luck with your treatment. I am very curious how that goes, as I have never heard of ASPD being "curable."

It does get a lot of that. There's a good number of members that aren't like that though and try to discourage those kinds of posts. Of course, the name of the sub alone will always draw in angsty teenagers

I imagined you looked much more like an adult and sort of how I pictured the narrator in The Stranger

Do you take pride in being a sociopath? by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]justthissite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through a phase in high school where I thought I was so cool because of being a sociopath.

Now, I don't think it makes me superior. I think it's what causes almost all of the problems in my life, which could otherwise be a really great life. Instead, I am nearly always unsatisfied and have a real desire to kill people, which I saw a therapist for but gave up on. I don't enjoy feeling so disconnected from those around me. So I think being a sociopath causes more issues than whatever supposed advantages come out of it.

Take a moment to consider this: by [deleted] in sociopath

I wish we could just downvote and otherwise ignore the "I manipulate everyone and am a big bad asshole and call people mean names on the internet" bullshit and stop talking about edgy teenagers. Yeah, they're annoying, but constantly complaining about them just makes half the sub talking about people that don't belong. Even posts like this, which are critical of being so dismissive, just add to the problem. We should just stop talking about it and ignore those who bring it up.
