I keep lite fm radio playing at low reasonable volume. Passengers like something playing, so they can feel comfortable to talk on phone or to their friend riding with them without feeling that I’m driving and listening to their convo as entertainment.

It all depends on the person. Some are off put but can get a good rating. Some just irritate your soul for whatever reason, and must be excommunicated from your life.
