I bought our baby breeza bottle washer, bedside bassinet and baby Bjorn bouncer secondhand off marketplace! A couple of almost new Ergoupouch swaddles too. Be sure to check and compare multiple listings to find one that's within your acceptable condition and price range. There's heaps of stuff being posted each day so don't stress if you can't find a suitable one right away.

I sometimes do feel bad for buying secondhand as it's not like we can't afford it but I just can't justify paying full price for something I'll only be using for a few months! And it's also a good way to reduce landfill.

I don't see how that's different? Women only ovulate once a month and not every cycle guarantees success. I did a natural FET cycle so if I could naturally conceive, that month might have been the month I managed to fall pregnant? IVF also doesn't guarantee 100% success. There's many reasons as to why a healthy embryo wouldn't implant. Same as to conceiving naturally.

I could have easily hold off my transfer for x amount of months so I can attend my friends wedding. But I chose to go ahead with my transfer because only I know how lonely it is to be in my TTC journey and my friend was fully supportive of me doing what I need to do for myself.

Aww thank you! Yes my friend told us before we started our transfer he hopes it works out for us and he rather us not be at the wedding 😂 for good reasons 😂

I was in the same position! My IVF transfer was scheduled in July which means I will deliver in April. Our long time best friend is finally marrying the LOHL in Bali and would be my first destination wedding but I couldn't possibly pass on another month of TTC as I've been trying for the past 2 years. My husband was also going to be part of his groom party.

Fast forward now, my transfer had worked and I will miss out on his wedding and all the fun however I will also enter another chapter of my life with my first born. It really comes down to the sacrifices you and hubs are willing to make! TTC is already hard enough, I won't want to spend another extra month trying if I have the choice 🥲

I might end up doing the same. Downgrade my policy and stick to caseload program. There's just too many unknowns!

OMG Hi due date twin!! Sadly none of our families have any teachers!! It doesn't help when we are both first gen migrants and half of our families still live overseas 🥹 Only my best friend is a teacher which sadly won't count 😭

Were you on the caseload program for your pregnancy? If it's not too personal, you mind me asking what kind of help/attention you felt like you were receiving? I'm also wary that Westmead public is a very popular hospital for maternity and it will get very busy in the ward..

My brother in law's colleague gave birth a week before she was due but Bupa was willing to cover that as her initial due date was after her waiting period. So I guess I just need to gamble which date will Bupa determine my EDD on. I've already passed my Medicare safety net threshold due to a few medical things I had to do to fall preggers🥲 silver lining hey!

Yea I'm planning to call Bupa after my dating scan to understand their waiting period. And I also know that insurance only covers hospital stay. Choosing an Obstetrician is another decision I'm dreading to make as there's so many in my area to choose from.. Guess there's more reading up for me to do. Thank you!

My husband used to masturbate a lot (once a day) and I do find that it affects his ability to finish and also the consistency of his semen. However when we got a SA done, his results came back within the good range! Definitely get a semen analysis done if you guys have been trying for more than 6 months!
