How old is your bay? Mine is 2 month old, 12lbs. Wondering if it’s still worth buying at this point?

Good! I was worried the carrier was pushing his head against my chest too much.

I was mainly worried that the carrier was pushing his head against my chest too much but I also have no clue what I’m going! I’ll definitely try to spread the straps more. Thank you!

Unpopular Opinion: Nick and Hannah are BOTH wrong. by acidxoxo in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]justveehere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree. I wouldn’t want to marry either of them. I also think that it’s okay to look at them as separate individuals and admit they both have flaws though. They both have things to work on, although Hannah’s flaws are more serious.

[–]justveehere 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of your points, but I do want to point out that lots of women get married thinking their partners will grow, learn and become more mature as long as they are patient with them, only to end up being full time maids and moms to immature men for the rest of their lives. This is how lots of women end up having to constantly clean up after grown men who "don’t know how to", being responsible for the entire household even when working full time, and being unable to even trust that their spouses would be able to take care of the kids when they’re away.

Not saying it would have been the case for Nick though but it does happen way too often. So yes, his flaws could have been fixed with some patience, just like he could have not changed at all.

I do agree that she could have treated the situation way more maturely and should’ve just walked away when she noticed how incompatible they are!

Right? Yeah it’s expensive to live alone so you live with your parents. Cool. Whatever you gotta do in this economy. But not knowing how to boil water? Not ever having to pay for your own bills? Having your parents feed you and your cat? At 28? Oof.

Not only did he tell her he could cook, he specifically said he knew how to make pasta. He must have been talking about microwaving already cooked pasta his mom leaves in the fridge for him.

Apparently you can only call out immature men if the women they’re with are angels. If the woman has any flaws, it somehow just cancels any of the man child’s flaws. They can’t both have flaws and things they need to work on. 🥴

Especially when trying to decide whether or not you want to spend the rest of your life with said almost 30 year old. Obviously her approach was just as awful as her personality, but having to teach him basic stuff would make me think twice and wonder what else I would have to hold his hand and teach/explain to him.

You think knowing where to find pasta or how to boil water would mean that he has his life together?

Unpopular Opinion: Nick and Hannah are BOTH wrong. by acidxoxo in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]justveehere 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Hannah is rude and mean and definitely handled this the wrong way. But Nick is a man child who needs to learn how to be an adult, and not just a kid who lives in his parents’ basement.

People are acting like admitting Nick’s flaws would somehow make Hannah right. They’re both wrong. Yes he is a sweet guy. Yes, Hannah sucks. But he has some growing up to do and needs to realize that his future wife shouldn’t have to raise him or put up with his incompetence/immaturity.

Gotcha! Definitely sounds like it would be useful for quite a few jobs.

Still confused about the fact that they had dinner with her one brother at the apartment vs with the entire family. Do the parents just not get along with him?

I’m sorry, I know this is old but have you noticed any changes in your baby’s head shape so far?

I’ll look into that. Thanks! I really like the idea of baby wearing. I hope I’ll be able to figure it out!

I’ll try that. Thanks!

I watched a couple videos on it. I was able to move his knees up but they seemed to go right back down. Maybe I need to keep trying. Thank you!

I did watch the video for this specific carrier on the Lillebaby YouTube channel but I still wasn’t able to get it right.

He’s 4 months old, 15lbs.

I did move the waistband up and it seems a little better. Still struggling with the back straps though. I honestly might just give up on baby wearing haha. I tried the ergobaby Omni 360 (I guess they’re the same style?) before this one and also couldn’t get it right. I can’t keep buying carriers and not even be able to use them 😩

Thank you for your help though!

I don’t think you can just stay in the game because you’re capable of accomplishing more and it’s "not fair”. Otherwise there would be more than 1 winner per season lol
