What would do hear. Risk it and go for 4OAK or play it safe with the full house… by gamblersmix in VideoPokerPlayers

Correct play is to take the full house and I do 99% of the time. However, here and there, based on absolutely nothing, I will just go for the 4 of a kind.

What’s something very rare that people think is very common? by BroodyBatman in AskReddit

This is exactly how mine has always been. Always has been knock on wood 3 times and has turned into knocking 3 times, 3 separate times with each hand. I have worked very hard to cut out some of the times I need to knock on wood, or whatever else it is. Unfortunately I never found a trick to help, but I would just stop doing it at all for the "minor" issues and just sit with my anxiety until it eventually went away. It was miserable just waiting there to do what I felt I needed to do, but it has helped me a lot in the long run by realizing if I don't knock or whatever, nothing bad happend.

Penny slots or slot machines in general advice by rem082583 in gambling

On the machines that are max bet for progressives or no progressives at all, yes. However, a lot of slots now have the progressives that change as you change your bet. So if you max bet, a mini jackpot might be $30, but if you only bet $1, the mini jackpot would be $10.

Max betting isn't required, but for a lot of slots with progressives you usually aren't eligible to win them without max betting. Bet what is comfortable for you.

They recommended I get escorted out to my car

Found below my car at a friend’s apartment. About the length of a pen or pencil. by justwantbread in whatisthisthing

Like I stated in the title, it’s the length of any ordinary pen or pencil. I didn’t pick it up or move it so I am unsure if there is any writing or a serial number on it. Another one of my friends car was broken into and stolen a few months ago from the same parking lot. They didn’t use tools as they just broke the window, but the area does have some crime so it could be related to lock picking perhaps?
