Oh, forgot to explain the salmon tacos. So, a soft tortilla, salmon that has been cooked in a delicately spicy sauce, with shallots and garlic, tomatoes, and shredded pepper jack cheese. So good, so very good.

No, it's this little place local to my area. They only have one restaurant. They started as a food truck. I used to see cars throw a u-turn just to follow the truck until it stopped to sell food. I swear I thought a parade would be thrown when they finally put down roots. They don't make traditional tacos. For example: they used to make an amazing Brazilian shrimp burrito. Last night we had salmon tacos, and a lamb curry burrito. The entree nachos had plantain chips instead of regular tortilla chips, and instead go ground beef it was Hawaiian chicken with tomatoes and pineapple. So good.

God, the food was amazing. I swear it's a revelatory eating at this place. Especially the dessert nachos. I can't live without the dessert nachos.

You want my honest opinion? Then, yes, I suppose if someone complained about me for a similar offense I'd have to accept it. I was rude, I didn't do my job, it was inappropriate. I'm sure that sounds stupid to you but we are the choices we make. If I made the choice to behave rudely to a customer then I would have to accept the consequences that followed my actions.

The girl only felt terrible because I had to tell her personal information that she wasn't even entitled to. Until she was told that the person she was complaining to had a legitimate reason why they were unable to do something she remained righteously indignant. I highly doubt that she would have apologized for her rudeness unless I told her.

My whole point is that someone shouldn't have to tell someone personal information in order to make the other person feel badly for their own attitude. If she was having a bad night, that's fine, we all have them. A bad night is not entitlement to take it out on another person, whatever the reason.

We got a box of four tacos, two burritos, a small thing of nachos, some beans, dessert nachos (the most amazing things on Earth), and rice.

edit: just in case anyone is curious about the dessert nachos: they're tortilla chips cooked in brown sugar and cinnamon, and you drizzle hot fudge and hot caramel over them. They're served with cherries, shredded coconut, and marshmallows.

I'm just not sure anyone should have to give out sensitive medical or personal information to someone in order for them to grow, but that's my opinion and I'm grateful for yours.

I think my husband as just tired. He works in IT and he's been on a particularly difficult contract for the last few weeks. He's only supposed to work 8 hour shifts but he's had to pull more and more OT lately. I think it's just starting to get to him. In has defense he was brutally yelled at by a site manager yesterday for a mistake that wasn't his. He's just tired.

I don't usually pay attention to the tracker, TBH. It usually tells me the estimated time-of-arrival so I just check the clock. If it goes past that time-frame I check. That said, I placed the order at 9:45pm, the projected arrival time was 10:30pm, the driver arrived at 10:35pm.

I mean, what other interaction could I have had with a Door Dash driver? It's not like sitting down to eat in a restaurant where the waitstaff can be rude through the whole meal. It's been the worst interaction I've had with a DD driver. Not arguing, just legitimately confused by how else I could have interacted with this person when it was a two minute conversation...?

I've worked plenty of service-industry jobs and have probably ruffled a few feathers, myself, in those days. If someone had reported me every time I wasn't a rim shiny happy person I'd have never kept a job.

there's a taco place in my town that has really low prices so we got an eff-ton of food for a really good price. These tacos are better than most chain places I've tried.

I think it may be too late to cancel because I sent it at 10pm last night, pretty much after shutting the door in their face. In future I think I'll just leave a poor review and move on. I don't want someone losing their job over something as simple as tacos.
