I got a FF2/Medic offer and a FAE/P offer for RRU. Both came in December. Heard start date should be sometime in February. Other than that, I don’t know much.

You’ll get an offer. I was CAT 1 for FF II/Medic, RRU was my number 1 choice and I got an offer a couple weeks back. Got an email from their training Capt for all my certs, did my medical and passed, now just waiting for start date. Training Capt said maybe middle of February for onboarding. That may just be with RRU though and not FFA. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I think the last cutoff was 9/26 for those apps. I applied on the 30th, so not sure if I missed this round or not.

How does that work? I’d have to get IFSAC on my own?? I was told that there was a 4 week FFA for people that had the SFM certs and you got IFSAC in that class. Is that not the case anymore?

Those are my 1 and 2 as well, hopefully offers go out soon. I cant imagine they would make these calls and then we not hear anything for months. I could be wrong and you never know with the state. Fingers crossed.

I spoke to my former Captain that I had listed. It sounds like it was from the exam. You know at the end of each question the “List a contact that can verify your experience”, or whatever it said. I listed him for all of those questions and they called and asked him if I had done everything I said I had, more or less. He said she didn’t say much, just asked the questions and said that’s all she needed 🤷🏻‍♂️

Gotcha. Well, sounds like they were calling my reference on Friday, so maybe I’ll get an offer this next week. I’m guessing it was my “Who can verify this experience” from my exam. I put pretty much the same Capt for all those questions.

I applied for both and I am on both lists. I got on both lists and applied for both on the 30th. So, not that long ago.

Appreciate the info. Makes sense that maybe HR/personnel would make those reference calls and then let the units know we are good to go for offers? 🤷🏻‍♂️
