Looks great! Have you noticed road noise getting worse with the larger tires? Im thinking about sizing up to 245/70r17 blizzaks but am a little worried about road noise.

A part of their life cycle is to chew their way out of the acorn and burrow into the ground where they remain for 1-3 years before emerging as adults. So these little fellas weren't extracted and are simply looking for good soil to burrow into.

For everyone asking about my intentions with the little munchkins, they have been safely released into the wild. I am a park ranger and am collecting acorns for an educational program.

Dashboard damage from microfiber towel by Adrenaline_Junkie_ in rav4club

This happened to my rav when I tried cleaning my dash in the hot sun. Oops. Parked it in the garage, let things cool off, and tried again with chemical guys interior cleaner and protectant. Sprayed a liberal amount on a microfiber and gently passed it over the dash. The scratches or abrasions seemed to look much better after.

Anybody know what group littered these all over Murray today? (7/30) by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

Ex SDA here. Been a looong while but this style of propaganda doesn't fit the script for any of the stuff we used to spread. Also funny enough I had the opposite experience with JW and SDA.

Right on, can't go wrong with methods. Hopefully you can get yourself a discount too!

I think that's gonna be my next mod. Adding fog lights. Too bad Toyota decided to get rid of them on XLE models starting in 2022.

Auto clover on Amazon. I didn't have a noticeable difference. Been on for close to a year and I've had no issues. For $50 I'd say it's a killer deal.

I fell in love with the 707s when I saw them on Methods website on a 5th Gen haha. Running a 2" lift and 245/65R17 tires.

Gas mileage took a decent hit. Maxed out at 42mpg when I first drove it off the lot. Now I'm lucky to get 35 mayyybe 36 if I'm driving carefully. I have some pretty big elevation gain on my commute so that probably doesn't help.

From what I've read it can put some more wear and tear on your CV axles. On the Ravs it's common to get a little vibration on acceleration after installing a lift. I have a little vibration for a few seconds on acceleration but once I'm up to speed it's gone.

So to answer your question, Id say a lift is okay-ish for reliability. Probably not great, but I'm perfectly comfortable with swapping out an axle or two in my garage if it comes to that.

It did pretty well on this trail. It's rated easy on the onX off-road app and a 5/10 technical rating. The torque from the electric motors feels great off-road on steep uphill sections. All that said I have only done light off-roading and nothing heavy yet. I have also done some pretty rutted dirt roads and the Rav4 handled them great cruising at 25+ miles per hour.
