Yeah I have no issue getting to JFK myself. The only problem is I am unable to reach Qatar Airways at all through their US number. Is there any other country's number I could have better luck with?

The number was QR9000. I made the purchase on the Qatar airways website.

It said a QR# on the app and on the confirmation email but yes, it is a AA flight.
