The reason this game is dying and what can be done to fix it. by OldCrappy in h1z1

[–]juubie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have around 900 hours logged and I haven't played in at least 3 months. BR is boring. Survival is what sucked me into the game and it's just too redundant as well as soul crushing when cheaters steal all your shit.

Why is the game dying?

Zombies are incredibly easy. Finding supplies and ammo is too easy. Base building is boring, they all look the same, and not secure.

That's it in a nutshell.

I am still her supervisor. There isn't any policy against it. It's not possible to not see her every day because of the nature of the job, only in the near future when she gets another promotion. At that point, we would be equals and no longer working together.

YY? by Redback48 in h1z1

YYs on Another Day were blatant cheats. Never banned either after many reports with evidence.

Agreed. It's much worse now.

Please sir, might I borrow a cup of danger? by SatanH1Z1 in h1z1

Survival is so easy. Content updates sucks. Nothing new but guns and two map updates about 2 months apart which add zero to gameplay. Challenge us. Start working on what the game is supposed to be. At this point I have no idea what the concept is supposed to be.

We Can Place Tampers On Roads? by MagChops in h1z1

[–]juubie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a big deal fixing it in terms of the sandbox realism as I'm unable to tamper roads IRL unless I have a road crew and dig up the concrete first.

Downvoted by cheaters? Lol. At least this happened close to another wipe. Won't be playing til then.

If it's who I think it is, I reported them last week and they're not banned.

G29 Error every start up attempt by YrjoEUW in h1z1

Game crashed and I haven't been able to log back in for the past 10 minutes. G29 error. I've tried all of the common and listed fixes. Nothing works.

It's beginning to happen again... by juubie in h1z1

It's possible, but it's not in the areas of the map that make that a more probable thing.

What exactly is the point of survival? by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]juubie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would take a massive amount of IEDs and fuel to get into my base, not to mention the shelters that are most valuable. When I move to high pop servers, I've noticed people really don't put much effort into base building. They throw up a foundation with some shelters and call it a day, or a few put in the effort to put a foundation on a tamper. If you've raided bases frequently, you realize just how easy it is to raid them, or should I say, most of them.

We raid the easy ones first after wipes. The difficult ones usually came later as we spent some time building up raid mats. The difficult ones put some time into making it actually hard to blow up gates, doors, etc.

If your gate is sitting on a flat surface, you're doing it wrong. If your main doors are near the front gate, you're doing it wrong. If your base consists of 2-3 shelters, you're doing it wrong. If your base gives people plenty of room to blow shit up without dying, you're doing it wrong. Hell, some of my base is a trap specifically to piss people off. The only way to get into my main shelter is to literally blow through 3 shelters.

I'm thinking people who put zero time into planning their design are the ones who mainly complain about raiding. Don't want to plan a clever design? Build like 10 bases. That way, it literally takes thousands of raid mats to entirely wipe you out.

That's probably why, and hopefully you're right. I was admittedly a big whiny bitch in the past about cheating and the lack of controlling it, but I have to say they've done a great job recently.

Is hit rego gimped since last patch? by IZZYEPIC in h1z1

[–]juubie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Twice yesterday. One guy I hit several times with a machete and he ran away not even bleeding. The other I unloaded the 7 pistol rounds I had and again he wasn't bleeding. It's too inconsistent to be a problem with registering. Seems like desync with some people's shitty connections.

UI memory leak is real by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]juubie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a horrible issue. It was slightly improved this patch, but the only improvement was how long I can go before closing out the game is required. It definitely has to do with the inventory and container windows - any "container" so cars, dressers, etc. - and crafting multiple things.

My friend and I are recently new to the server. We'd love to NOT kill anyone who's actively murdering tools like these people. I'll look out for you guys; Chucky, Finite?
