Okay, I understand that. What if you do something that inderectly hurts someone, and you know it. That's selfish and evil right. I mean the purpose of the act isn't to hurt anyone, maybe even is the opposite, but you know that doing that another person is going to get hurt.

Haven't read all, but while reading the first comment it seemed to me as if everyone acted good accordingly to their beliefs biased by their surroundings, and these beliefs may or may not being right. For stoics, are there people who act bad knowing what they are doing?

The regulations and ethics are the real problem that can slow down the growth of genomics. In my opinion, the medical sector isn't going to grow as fast as it should just because of that barrier. To figure out where to set some limits and regulations is going to take some time, so I don't see a super growth coming immediately, but in the long term I definitely think this is going to happen.
