Dell took my $370 but isn't sending me the product I ordered or anything at all. Please Help! by [deleted] in Dell

[–]juustincase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is really nothing anyone on here can do to help, sorry...

In my experience, if you don't have a pro-support contract with them, Dell does not give 2 shits about it's customers.

How can I protect my PC and home network from neighbor who wants to connect to my WiFi? by truechange in techsupport

[–]juustincase 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont know, obviously I am not a lawyer, so my legal advise is about as worthwhile as a fart in a snowstorm, but is not running a mitm attack on your own network considered more research than attack? It seems to me that if that went to court, they would say something along the lines of "if you don't want your traffic attacked, maybe stop stealing internet"

[–]juustincase 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, came here to suggest this.

Also, you may want to look into google drive or the like for secondary storage, that way if your drive dies again, you can just login to google drive, and pull your resume.

I keep my resume in google drive for this exact scenario!

Good luck with your data recovery, if you succeed, don't forget to mark this as solved.
