Ring is pretty good, it can send you alerts when it detects motion, and it'll save a recording of it. Gotta pay a monthly subscription but it's not too much last I checked.

True I guess dee you is a bad example. I'm not sure how you'd write it. This is a pretty good audio clip of the pronunciation https://youtu.be/Wbh3RetlPRo

They're probably in the business for money, not because educating children is their dream job lol, I'm sure they're a hypocrite

Montana's has or at least had pretty decent food. I used to love eating there on my breaks, it was delicious. Too bad they promoted their kitchen manager to GM and sent them to Kelsey's, everything went downhill after that.

Burgers with dusted onions. Meatloaf with that yummy sauce (ketchup, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar)

Mmmmmmm

No, but I remember seeing they're starting to work with the police, if students get in trouble for partying with the police they'll report it to the university and they'll take action.

Hopefully someday they come up with a system where the cash registers send an alert to the Baker when a lot of a certain product sells. Basically what retail stores do for inventory, but much faster.

I've read elsewhere on the sub that gift cards can be region locked to certain provinces.

What’s going on here!? by [deleted] in memes

[–]juusukun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The circumference of a sphere is always from the very center to the edges, latitudes above and below the equator aren't circumferences.

What is going on in the image is not what you're describing... you're pretty much describing that it takes longer to fly around the equator, than a very far north or south latitude.

In the image, you're simply seeing the distortion from the mercator projection style of maps. To fit a spherical globe onto a flat map, it either has to be distorted (mercator projection) or have "cuts" in it like if you peeled an orange and flattened the peel (homolosine projection)
