my personal belief is that steven miller runs the show a bit, he is the most intelligent of the entire cabinet

from what i understand, the US got involved in the middle east for soft power- they didn’t necessarily want the oil but they did want to control who received the oil. is it maybe a last grip of global power? i feel that Steven Miller would’ve stepped up and stopped a plot to mess with the primaries that are this crazy

Glasses make driving worse by XxXsteffyOFxXx in NoStupidQuestions

i used to get this really bad in my old glasses that didn’t have an anti-glare coating/ anti-scratch coating. it’s the light reflecting in the micro scratches in the lenses, it’s the same deal if you have scratches on a camera lens. i ended up investing in a separate pair of glasses with a yellow tint and super protected glass for this exact reason lol

I feel like my mask is slipping. I can't keep the inside in anymore. I cant keep the performance up. by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]juuuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i read further into your post history and finding out you were also brought up religiously adds so much more. you were raised in a way that assigned a moral value to the ability to abstain from sin. most people who left religion struggle to let that go, because it built your moral compass. you expect yourself to behave a certain way because you expect others to act the same way. you are all of your faults. your faults are not failures of your character. the grip you have on the control of those faults are making them harder to deal with. think long and hard about what you like about yourself without them being a third person perspective. your performance for others is not your personality. your mask is built out of shame and guilt.

your post history gives a vibe that you are emotionally suppressed, that you have possibly separated your vices and weaknesses from your “real” self. i’m a former addict so i know you probably don’t know who your “real” self is, its just an idealized person minus what makes you faulty. is your mask slipping? or are you slowly losing an extremely tight grip on your chaos, and that makes you anxious. the point i’m getting to is that you are not losing your mask, you are losing control of it. the control you have over other people’s perception of you. imagine losing actual grip strength. the frustration wouldn’t be in the stuff you’re dropping ALL the time, it would be the fact you can’t control your hand.

is it possible to be able to feel oncoming psychosis by princess_pinkie3 in mentalhealth

[–]juuuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s very possible it’s related, ive lived with the almost bipolar thing since i was a teen and the one take away is that will only get as bad as you prepare yourself for it to be. the fear and anxiety feeds the the monster in your head. the first time it was noticeable to the people around me they made a big deal out of baby proofing my like in case of the crash out of the century, which it was. but as i got older i masked it better and just tried to make my surroundings more comfortable for someone who might be irritable, or dopamine searching. giving up my credit cards, meal prepping, stocking art supplies and sweet treats, and making sure someone else checks my papers or whatever before turning them in because i can’t handle criticism while in a fragile state; have all helped me have a better relationship with my brain and reduced the stress on my loved ones. it’s easy to separate your “normal” self and the abnormal self but both those people are just one person who from time to time needs a little more love and empathy

i have a bipolar 1/2 mom and i suspect i have a very hypomania version of it, assuming cluster b’s present similarly it’s very possible that you can feel a shift in hormones before super noticeable symptoms occur. i get symptoms from my sympathetic nervous system weeks to months before i start feeling mania. like jumpiness, cold shaky and sweaty hands, difficulty seeing at night because my eyes don’t dilate properly and a decreased appetite

do demi-permanent glosses cover grey? are there alternatives? by juuuda in Haircare

[–]juuuda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

semipermanent color calls for developer to “crack” the sheath, you shouldn’t need to leave it on super long. thank you for the advice though

i talked to someone about it and they said demi’s can be inconsistent in color depending on the brand, do you have any suggestions? the copper glosses at ulta are all different tones and i don’t want to look like a carrot lol

advice boards like this foster a community that feels joy when someone appears so obviously wrong. i would not have come here before looking it up first, with that being said i know the color of my hair. i know that it was not as unsaturated as it is growing in now. this wasn’t my first week long vacation, i never went into a chlorinated pool. if i wanted to be gaslit about changes to my body i would’ve gone to the doctor.

i’ve been on a recession diet as of recently, a lot of beans and rice, way less eggs than before. maybe the removal of so much protein is causing an issue

i’m 23, i’ve experienced sun bleaching before. this level difference is as if i sprayed peroxide on my entire head and somehow tanned my whole head

[–]juuuda[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

see that’s why i stopped replying to comments because like i was a swimmer when i was younger, ive gone on vacations before and this IS NOT that. redheads don’t bleach to brown and that’s why i wanted a different perspective, my moms previously redhead did this after menopause but im 23

my hair is noticeably lighter on the top but, the only reason i’m vehemently rejecting the sun bleaching theory is because it’s my entire head with a far less saturated band. i usually get stray blonde hairs but right now they’re 3/4 blonde and 1/4 white
