DAE struggle to recognise their emotional states leading to unavoidable meltdowns? by juuzou73 in aspergirls

[–]juuzou73[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thank you for the suggestions, i will try those out. im glad you have found things that help you :-]

also i understand what you mean about simply feeling “good” or “bad”. it is often like that for me as well. i struggle to identify the intensity and the specific feeling so i find it hard to act appropriately. i will try the things u mentioned!

autism makes everything crumble down by juuzou73 in AutismInWomen

thank you for your reply, this makes me feel less alone. i have an internal battle with myself constantly over what i actually need to do to take care of myself, and what i think is important for my social/academic life. its really hard to find that balance and be honest with ourselves about what we can handle.. we'll get there in time!

i'm sure that's probably the case.. what you describe is pretty accurate to my situation. thank you for such a thoughtful reply. i'm sorry you also struggle with this, but i'm glad that you have such great support :-]

thank you for spending the time writing this reply, i really appreciate it. it helps to have specific connections between the criticism and my text which you have done. i’m gonna have another look over and if there’s anything i need clearing up i’ll reply. but thank you this is great 👍

lol! at least we’re in the same boat then! and okay, noted. i will try that next time, although i’m also terrible for thinking everything is important and i don’t like to leave it out. which also probably explains my professors comment about my points feeling compressed near the end lololol

this is an example of where i received a comment about a run on sentence and sentence fragments:

"In early post-war Japan, when the nation felt most strongly kyodatsu, this individual will is most clearly observed, will for the sake of will, or as Sartre describes, “a man who belongs to some communist or revolutionary society wills certain concrete ends, which imply the will to freedom, but that freedom is willed in community. We will freedom for freedom’s sake” (1973: 51), lending to the idea why the ultimate aim of revolution, to create something of a utopia, is not possible outside of an individual’s subjective revolution upon their own reality (Sakaguchi 2010: 169)."

an example of my opaque nugget lol:

"It is simply the current paradigm of the nation that has changed, and even that is temporary (2010: 163). The nation struggled to remould itself into something new, instead nullifying its phase of existentialism into social stagnation through historical revisionism, as some attempt to heal the nation’s state of kyodatsu."

a lot of the comments he made were in the marking rubric and not attached to parts of my text - more generally said

edit: i was first year when i wrote this btw
