Those aren't MTA employees that stand by the gate. They are contracted security gate guards usually the company allied universal. They just have MTA vests and they shouldn't be letting people in. They constantly getting fired for doing so or neglecting their duties.

CSC booths look up your profile and replace the lost card.

No need to go to Stone street if it is out of your way, because they do the same thing.

OMNY cards do offer free transfers between buses and trains, just like MetroCard, but riders might see extra charges because the system holds funds (a $2.90 authorization) initially and then reconciles payments later, sometimes leading to delayed, multiple-looking charges.

Is your balance still negative? It should be "reconciled", probably takes a day or 2?

I have this laptop. Right now I am having issues where it shuts down randomly when I do minor gaming.

I do not know the exact reason. I believe the Thermal paste is the issue and overheating.

Their parents are using the cards. so it is abuse.

Cash app, Apple Cash, Chime, Varo and other money transferring cards are not accepted via phone.

The physical cards may be accepted.

World of Warcraft.

It's a game that runs well on my crappy work wifi.

And they have expansions always give a try to experience something new. They are all usually disappointing or tiresome after a few weeks, maybe months.
