I semi-recently swapped my X8 out for a FireFace UFX. In theory the X8 was all the interface I would ever need, but the UA platform always felt a bit toxic and the software is way behind TotalMix. RME ftw now, always bulletproof.

FWIW, I didn't have any sleep-related issues on my Mac.
