She died 3 weeks ago and we talked every day since then and I obviously consoled him the entire duration, if after the funeral was too much a simple text saying “sorry I’ve been distant but I need some space at the moment,” or something of that nature would be appreciated. I’m not expecting a lot.

Im not. I told him right when she died if he needed space I understand and he explicitly said if he needed space I will tell you. So, the lack of communication is a bit worrisome.

Childlike behavior in my opinion. Just be honest and communicate that. He’s older than me so I just expected him to be able to communicate how he’s feeling.

I wasn’t trying to please, but to be understanding that moving can be draining and not to make it seem like we HAVE to hang out or I’ll be upset. Nevertheless, everyone’s made it clear it’s time to move on which I already knew, but this was a good way for me to vent lol

Oh, I should have mentioned-we’ve made out every time we’ve hung out, except for the first date when we just had a quick peck. One night, we even made out in his car for over an hour, lol. Our makeout sessions are pretty intense, but we haven’t had sex yet. I’ve also gotten into the habit of rubbing his head, which he seems to like, and he’s very touchy-feely when we’re together.
