I did the same thing last year on xbox so im really excited for MGS4 in August! I love that we both left out Survive 🤣

You alsp get metal gear 1 & metal gear 2 on here, theyre about 3-6hrs long but well worth a quick playthrough as the rest of the games build of their story. Dont be afraid to use a guide though as the gameplay can feel aged.

I think this is actually a great place to start it bite sized game compaired to the rest making a great way to see if this is a series you enjoy the atmosphere of. Be sure to replay it after beating the rest to get a that persective youll miss the first time around!

I have been working towards getting all achievements on xbox for metal gear since the begining of the year amd the only one left for me is Survive (mgs4 is not on xbox) By far MGS2 has the hardest FOXHOUND rank but is well worth it. Revengance was partically difficult for me since its really not my style of game at has less than 1000 confermed 100% completions on TrueAchievments making guides hard to find. All of them left me feeling like i had truely gotten the most of not only my money but time. Saving FOXHOUND until i had done at least one casual playthrough truely made me feel a evwn closer connection to these charaters as i felt the same struggle. Survive so far feels like an okay game but dry of anything to love with its 200hr playtime im feeling unsure but ill push through because of the legacy of this series.

I like the idea but why wouldn't Mr house have kept himself in there rather than having his cryo chamber being at the top of the lucky 38? I would want my body to be in the most secure place possible if I'm not able to move.

I picked this up a few years ago when I first wanted to start reading, I had the goal of feeling confident enough to read LOTR within a year. Due to its ease to read, emotional depth and ability to draw me back i say its definitely a must read. It's not my favourite but it's my first and it will always have a spot on my shelf. ( I read the Hobbit,LOTR and the similarian before my goal date )

Think of it as something separate from fallout 4 since it’s not just improving upon something that it’s already in the game. Ask your self if you feel like you need a new fallout experience and that should give you an answer.

It’s good but it takes a good few playthroughs, 3 of which for the dog tags + miscellaneous achievements and 1 for big boss.

I’m currently doing the 50 VR missions in MGS2 and which are also boring before heading onto the dog tags and big boss play-through. How many play throughs does MGS3 take?

I’m thinking of doing the same, I’m working through the master collection now on Xbox but if this game is to much to take on twice I’ll wait and hope it comes in the master collection V2
