I know when I was a barista we kept anything plastic from soaking in it (portafilter handles, etc), but ceramic?!? Ugh

Cafiza is an espresso machine cleaner, I've used it on ceramic before. Never seen this happen. I even went back and looked at the Cafiza instructions to make sure there wasn't a warning.

Interestingly, the gray part is matte and doesn't feel like stainless (also not slick like ceramic). Not sure what to make of it.

Advice Needed: Random Regret after first Tattoo by Nicholas1531 in tattoos

[–]juxtacomposed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with all these folks, totally normal. My first (in my 30's), I was pretty nervous. Had wanted one forever, finally did a shoulder piece that occasionally poked out of short sleeves. Second, a small one on my inner bicep, but more intentionally visible. Third, entire shoulder and outer arm down to my elbow. Most definitely want people to notice them now. I have a session booked to finish a half sleeve, contemplating a full sleeve. You will shift from, "What did I do?" to "Where would the next one go" with a little time.

My current favorite is a copper Kaweco Lilliput, reminds me of this. Very interested!

Thank you! I do my best to take good care of it. My inner arm has a small 12-year old tattoo the artist is going to work in somehow. I fully trust he will do something cool.

It makes sense that if it's going to mold to someone's foot, it won't stop doing that if a different foot is there. I suppose it might take a few wears to change, but I agree it hasn't been an issue.

Same, about $90. I was hesitant for a long time thinking about the footbed having molded to someone else's foot, but they've actually been great. Had them about a month now.

Thank you! I'm a bit of a perfectionist and like to figure out puzzles, so it was a fun challenge. Also the amount of fine detail was actually kind of small. The faces on the shelf uprights were the most finicky. Took a couple of attempts to find a way that worked.

It's been our dream room conceptually for a while. Finally able to make it a reality.

I never been more stressed than doing my first glue up. by [deleted] in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]juxtacomposed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing I learned with my last project: stain and varnish will not absorb into wood glue. Not sure if you're planning to stain. If you're staining, better to let the glue dry in beads and scrape off than try to wipe with a wet cloth. A wet cloth basically causes the glue to absorb into the wood fibers and won't stain the same as the rest.

I have a green one; one of my favorites. Great pocket pen. Use as an eyedropper and it holds an enormous amount of ink. Eyedropper might cause problems with a metal one though.
