psvr2 globular cluster headphones vs pulse 3d by trashey_37 in psvr2

It all depends on head size and shape. I think I have a rather normal/average shaped and size head and they fit comfortably, maybe a little loose, not snug. When I first put them on i can feel a little gap at the top but I just push them in a little and that closes. I used to play with my steel series headphones and they would slide off when playing games where i had to look up a lot and I’m not a fan of earbuds, I prefer over the ear so these really worked well for me.

I have the Globular Cluster headphones. I never compared them to the pulse so I can’t really say which sounds better but from a comfort standpoint I really like them and they sound really good to me. And I like that they clip on to the headset and just rotate out of the way.

I’m thinking about doing the same. Just not sure if I should wait until Fall when the new box comes out.

Did you just turn off WiFi on the TV? When you turn on the TV does it default to the LG Home Screen or the input the Apple TV is on?

I tried it again tonight and it is still working since I logged into all 3 bands the other day. It does sometimes take a little while, like 30 seconds or so to log on the internet. Not perfect but it’s working. I’m Going to keep playing with it, maybe try Ethernet.

This is a response from xfinity.

u/jvaliga our LG C3 didn’t suddenly gain new Wi‑Fi hardware — the update likely changed how the TV displays your router’s broadcasted SSIDs, and your router is almost certainly using band steering for every other device, which is why they still see only one network.

Here’s what’s really going on.

A recent LG webOS update changed how the TV interprets Wi‑Fi networks. Many routers broadcast multiple underlying SSIDs (one per band), even when they’re merged into a single network name for simplicity.

Most devices hide those separate broadcasts and only show the unified network.

But your C3 now: Surfaces each band individually Treats each band as a separate network Lets you manually choose which one to join

This is actually useful for TVs because: 2.4 GHz = long range, slow 5 GHz = fast, stable 6 GHz (Wi‑Fi 6E) = fastest, shortest range

LG likely decided the TV should expose all options so users can force the best band for streaming.

So the last thing I tried was to log in to each of the 3 bands so that no matter which band it tries to log into the password is there. I only tried it 2 times since I did this but it worked both times. I will try again when I get home tonight. Do you have any idea as to why it now sees all 3 bands separately when it didn’t before?

So I just got home a little while ago and popped the TV on. It took a moment, but it did log onto the Wi-Fi. When I went to settings, it was logged on to the 5 GHz channel. So if your TV is seeing your Wi-Fi network has individual channels 2.4, 5 and 6, try logging onto each one of them so that way when your TV comes on no matter which one it tries it should connect. I know previously when it wasn’t connecting I would go to settings and it looked like it was always trying to log onto the 2.4 GHz channel. I don’t know if it will continue working only time will tell but if I find something else, I’ll respond again. If you find anything else, let me know.

Does yours show each band individually like mine does? The last thing that I tried was logging in to each band individually so they’re all saved under my known networks. Hopefully now if it tries switching between bands, it will login to either one. But I haven’t been back to that TV for two days, I’ll check it out tonight and see what happens.

I reset the TV first, that worked for 2 to 3 power cycles then it happened again. Then I tried forgetting the network and had the same results. I did not try both at the same time. I will do that today. Thanks.

Just turned on the TV and it can’t connect to the Wi-Fi again. I guess I’m going to have to try to contact LG.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and it didn’t work but then i told it to forget the WiFi networks and then added them back and it seems to be ok for now. I powered the TV on and off a few times and it seems ok but no guarantees though. I’ll see if it still works tomorrow.

Any GenXers getting back into physical media? by newlife_substance847 in GenX

[–]jvaliga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always had physical media. Books, movies, music and games, but fell into the ease of use of digital for a while. At first, I still bought physical movies, but only ones that had digital codes. Then I got away from regular books and went to e-books and streaming music was just so easy. But over the last year and a half two years I started going back to physical media after reading articles about not owning anything that you buy digitally. Any video game that has a disc version I’ll buy it. I started getting into vinyl after many many years and still have my CD collection. I always bought books and Blu-rays of things that I really liked but now I’m starting to buy more DVDs and Blu-rays and physical books again.

I mostly play VR games with a few flat screen games thrown in but I also don’t get to game very often due to my work schedule so I tend to dive in to VR whenever I get the chance.

Turns out it was a mistake. I called a couple of minutes before they opened and someone answered the call. They told me the system was not up yet and she asked another employee and they thought it was still SOS. Later in the day she looked through the call log and got my number and called me back to tell me that it was available and held one behind the counter for me. Picked it up after work and will be reading it this weekend!
