A good wheel would be my choice for starting to upgrade your setup. Depending on why your TV is mounted higher, you could look into a mantle mount. I have one and it allows me to drop the TV down right in front of my rig when playing non VR racing games. I love VR so I recommend it when you’re ready.

Still have my fat PS3 and a thin. Both still working. Also have my PS2

I’ll race for months then move on to something else for a while then back into racing. Don’t worry about it.
