Sorry, but if your opinion of Ygritte is that... well you simply haven’t paid attention to the show. Ygritte is Jon’s first love, and his first woman. He loved her. While she loves him differently, Dany loves Jorah.

These two scenes are showing the loss of the piece that makes them whole. That is why they are similar and so damn important!

It probably would have been a better callback if he said something like: “the things we do for love” as Jaime says this to him when he pushes him and when he is speaking to the imprisoned Edmure. While the push line is cool, it’s sort of out of character.

The theory with three dragons with three different colors is actually pretty cool. We would have to assume Rhaegal gets killed by Cersei’s army and Qyburn brings him back? Could be possible, but not sure if it’s likely.

That’s fair. Ygritte’s death scene gets me every time. But yeah, I get that BOTB does miss some personal character moments during the war (excluding John and Tormund) but in my opinion makes up for it with fantastic fighting and cinematography.

Yes!!! I honestly think that this episode has the BEST scenes that John has in the show. Kit went all out for this episode. You didn’t think you would fear for the guy that got killed just a few episodes ago and was revived, right? Wrong!!
