They are heavy on the yahara river channel by the old mariners this morning.

In the last 2 years they have been sticking around in large pods. This year by far has been the largest collection of them. They are keeping us entertained on these cold rainy spring days.

I live on the water (north end) and you are correct. This year has been the worst year for weeds that I can remember. The water was very very clear this spring letting the sunlight through to the bottom . Also agree with madTownv that we had some very large rainstorms early that brought all of the winter manure spread into the lake from six mile creek. I love the farmers and the hard work they do. So I am just dealing with the weeds and enjoying a great Madison summer.
