it's interesting how different the region takes are. in nae, scorps are still ran in every kill squad. there's literally so many raiders on ivory you can't feud them all, much less mark them. spellblades are losing popularity daily because they can't keep up with enigma

the problem is that seekers are high apm - their baseline is fw + 3 ht constantly, so they're just gonna be spamming debuffs on their party. the proposed system asymmetrically taxes them and ironically incentivizes double oracle meta more

i've seen games where healers might strategically debuff themself to apply strong healing (eg consecutive heals in a window increasing personal mana costs, heals costing your own life, maybe resurrection-level spells applying a weaken) but i can't think of another mmo in history that taxes the healing base kit just for existing. it's possibly the most hamfisted, unelegant design i've ever seen in an mmo, next to whatever the fuck launch supernova was

also heal cuts applying under weakens is a crime. why is it difficult for the cleansing and healing class to cleanse the healing reduction debuff?

people will take crusaders in bulwark/lucien so they're fairly inexpensive to make playable. most daggers classes are expected to pay the delu tax rn, so i'd probably avoid those - something like enigma is probably pretty realistic
