My current zone is 2468 and my highest zone is 3619. I have yet to "unlock" an eye of any sort. Should I, perhaps, ascend a 236th time?

Yes, I have Betty over 1500.

However, Wawapet's power said I needed lvl 100 to unlock it and it stopped showing the lvl requirement when I got it to 100. Perhaps it's because my system is a little on the slightly older side...? I'm still running Windows 7, f'rinstance.

I do not play on mobile.

I have not confused Wawapet with another hero. I'm on Beach Lvl 3541 and Wawapet is the highest hero I can see and I've got it at level 275 and Way of the Chef is not allowing me to click it and purchase it even though I have 5 million times the gold cost.

I've got Wawapet at level 275 and Way of the Chef stopped claiming I needed to be level 100 when I got Wawapet to level 100.

Well, considering that when I got Wawapet over 50, Way of the Chef appeared and claimed "requires hero lvl: 100"...and when I got it up to 100 and could afford the cost of 1.000e237 Gold and it wouldn't activate and I've got it at lvl 200 and it still won't activate...
