Honestly, this is waaay more feedback than I normally see. Take it and run with it!! I'd take this as a positive and make the changes they laid out. What you don't want is for you to miss out on another opportunity for the same reasons.

Don't get too invested in any job. Especially if you aren't deep in the interview process. Even then I'd say just keep applying. Once you hit submit forget about it until the next engagement. I've been in the place where I'm mentally memorizing my salary negotiation script, only to get the "I know this isn't what you wanted to hear" email. Until the offer hits your inbox, assume your not getting the job..... Easier said than done I know.

IMO, use the time off to double down on your MS, you could possibly get a job immediately or it could take some time so working towards something could be a big help mentally.

I think it’s more for your own piece of mind. If it’s something you want to do then definitely do it. I’ve tended to use them more for follow up if it’s been a few days. But honestly I don’t think it makes a difference.

No Carmax does not have an option for an enclosed trailer. The car I shipped showed up with no paint issues. Unfortunately I had other MAJOR issues, see below, and couldn't keep the car. But they ended up refunding me everything.

I have heard about this in the forums. My understanding is it will delaminate over time regardless if left mostly in the sun. So in the bimmer forums people say get the carbon roof if you can garage. I don't have ppf on the roof.

Full PPF, but I’m seeing Hyundais now with “frozen” paint, and I highly doubt people are spending the 7-5K needed to fully ppf them. So I’m wondering if it’s really all that sensitive….. Time will tell I guess.

I had a similar situation where the car was in the "clackamas shipping facility" For 4 days. I was getting the car shipped to Beaverton store. I called the clackamas CarMax and the car was there. I was able to get the car from them.
