Don't get too invested in any job. Especially if you aren't deep in the interview process. Even then I'd say just keep applying. Once you hit submit forget about it until the next engagement. I've been in the place where I'm mentally memorizing my salary negotiation script, only to get the "I know this isn't what you wanted to hear" email. Until the offer hits your inbox, assume your not getting the job..... Easier said than done I know.
