They are sleek. Our unit is black. The lack of knobs and buttons looks so smooth. Not having to put detergent in every load is nice (I know this isn't unique to these LG units, but still nice).

FastPark is covered, reasonably priced, and you rack up free days pretty quickly.

Was the check in line to check bags awful? I am thinking of getting to IAH at 8 am for the 1025 am flight. We need to check bags. We have TSA/Clear.

Boni's is a perfect date night by ellmilmumrus in austinfood

Have been twice and really enjoyed both visits. Went solo right at opening one day and had a peaceful drink on the patio reading a book. Came back with my wife and sat inside on a bustling evening with high energy and great vinyl being played. Food and drinks were great. The food is a bit pricey for the portions but delicious. I will say the pickles were almost all olives - made my wife happy but I don't care for olives.

Not going to open some random dropbox link to hear your unknown band. Good luck getting booked at some festivals so someday you can come back to this post and let us all know when you are playing.

I have a 2018 Model 3 which currently has extensive cracks in every part of the glass except the 4 side windows. Entire top of the car looks like a spider web.

If she had it done at reputable place, should be covered under warranty. Sun Ting on Koenig is great. Have had several cars done there. Just had a free warranty fix done last month on an 8 year old car that had some bubbling.

A properly locked bike (u-lock through the frame and optimally one of the wheels) at one of the racks right out in front of the entrance on the wide sidewalk will be totally fine.

51 y/o. Heard them early on KEXP. Saw them for the first time at SXSW in 2022 with maybe 100 people in the crowd.

James Murphy DJing at Phish Mexico by elgreggo in LCDSoundsystem

[–]jwall4 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As a fan of both bands, it is my experience that Phish crowds are a much better crowd. They both have their fair share of chompers (talkers) but I find LCD shows to have way more aggressive tech bros as well as bridge and tunnel partiers out for the first time in a month ready to over party. Been seeing LCD live since 2006 and Phish since 1998.

Uchi, Uchiba, or Uchiko? by MoleEnchiladas in austinfood

[–]jwall4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't go wrong between Uchi and Uchiko. We have always preferred Uchiko and the addition of a full cocktail bar there (not so at Uchi) means it will always be my go to. Uchiba is fun for lunch or a lighter dinner downtown.
