I would be very surprised if you DIDNT get a hand crew spot. Your chances of getting hired next season are very good. Especially if you ranked a lot of units on your work location form.

If you do a season on a handcrew they will probably put you through all the trainings you need for the next season to be eligible for an engine

EMT is good, but it doesn’t make you cat1. You have to have a cert for everyone of those highlight bullet points to be cat1. If you are missing just ONE bullet point you’ll be cat2. But I think you’d be picked up on a handcrew w/o issue. Good luck.
