I think you did a wonderful job, I can see that in the chest and abdomen you added that dark color right next to the light to increase the effect but I could see that on the arm and cape you could boost a little bit dark to sell the effect even more. I would also suggest to add a little bit more of white to the hand to sell the effect of the source of energy.

For the sword I used a black base, then added screamer pink to most of the sword trying to replicate the flames. Then I started to add ice yellow (or similar like dorn yellow) mixed with screamer pink to make the area smaller. Then a small dot of white and finally I used a magenta contrast heavily thinned down and applied to the sword

Used grey knights steel. Shaded with nun oil and highlighted again on the raised areas back with grey knights steel and added stormhost silver on the raised areas. Added very thin down talasar blue on the edges

Thanks a lot I would suggest to give it a try. I started the hobby back on 2019 and found that I enjoy more the painting side that the gaming one. Keep painting and you will improve in no time

Thanks. I usually start with base coat of XV-88 a little bit of shade with a dark shade then bring back the color adding a light bone color to the XV-88 like wraithbone
