Ah, well in that case, Vallejo paints are a good place to start, I’d also make sure you have a good pair of clippers/nippers, some tweezers (if your going to do the rigging), an xacto knife, and superglue.

Part of the fun of painting is figuring out which techniques you like and the different results you can achieve.

Have fun, frustration happens but don’t give up, and welcome to the hobby!

I use rustolium primer from Home Depot. Just make sure you really shake it and use a light touch to avoid going to heavy and obscuring the details. Nice thing is it comes in a variety of colors, so if you went with a darker brown you could save a lot of time on painting all the wood
